Jack Kesler is a 2024 3B/RHP, C, OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Lee's Summit North. Medium slender build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, possesses good footwork, rounds the ball well and carries his momentum through the ball towards first base. Clean transfer with a quick release, good softness to his glove work as well. Arm strength across the diamond will develop nicely alongside his build. From behind the plate, sets up in a conventional crouch with good quickness out of it. Short arm action with a similar quick arm action. Replaces feet well, battles for balls in the dirt. Posted a 2.20 second pop time down to second base in the catching workout. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a simple stride trigger. Mixes in an occasional toe tap, flat barrel plane through the zone. Some slight whip to his barrel thanks to a small hand coil as he goes back into his load.
