Archer Wong-Shasteen is a 2021 2B/RHP/IF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Hardin Valley. Recorded a 7.13 second 60 yard dash. Medium frame and lean build with room to fill. Primary second baseman that shows quick hands and feet with solid overall athleticism. Has a sure-handed glove, showed a short arm action with accurate throws. Right-handed hitter with a straight stance and high hand set. Has a pull side approach with carry to left-centerfield. Showed barrel accuracy and consistent solid contact during his round. Developing strength with athleticism present throughout the swing. Secondary right-handed pitcher that comes from a three-quarters slot with good arm speed and loose action. Lands on line with good extension to home plate. Flashed an 11-5 curveball with sink, mixed speeds and showed decent control during his outing. Great student.
