Cooper Thornhill is a 2024 C/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Columbia, MO who attends Hickman. Recorded a 8.23 second 60-yard dash time. Primary catcher with a medium frame and mature build. Side-saddle stance with narrow setup on throws from behind the plate with a quick release at 68 mph. Gains ground working under the ball with a lower slot arm action for a 2.07 pop time. Secondary corner infielder with throws from first base across the diamond at 69 mph. Soft hands with fundamental actions around the bag which profiles to both corners. Right-handed hitter with an even base and upright stance in the box. Simple knee-lift trigger stride with deep hand-load separation into contact. All fields approach with longer swing path through the zone as he matures into frame and adds strength. Good student.
