Mason Watler is a 2023 C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Parkview. Medium frame with a lean build showing a strong lower half. Ran a 7.94 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sits athletically down in his stance. Received the baseball comfortably and did a nice job of blocking the baseball up. Quick transfers on throw downs as he shows some urgency. Accurate to the bag as he recorded a 2.21 second pop time during drills. RIght-Handed Hitter, starting a bit closed off before striding out. Weight kept on backside as he throws hands at the baseball with a linear swing path. Looks to pull the baseball when possible and found barrels consistently. Outstanding Student.
