Kenner Tompkins is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland. Posted a 7.46 in the 60 yard dash. Primary 1B, physical upside played the part naturally. Moves around and off the bag smoothly, has softness in the hands and glove skill with a quick transfer and release off good turns. On the mound the right-hander topped the fastball out at 76 working the curveball well in the zone and flashed feel for a changeup. Repeats his operation well with lower zone intent. Right-handed hitter, even base utilizing a leg lift trigger. More strength and timing to unlock with the projectable size, connects with authority when he keeps the barrel on plane with balance in the swing. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
