Isiah Lopez is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Midland, TX who attends Midland Legacy High School. Recorded a 7.45 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Quick first step with soft hands to both sides and quick release on throws at 82 mph. Moves around well with ability to make accurate throws on the move from multiple arm slots. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a coiled lift from the third base side of the rubber. His coiled lift and rotational upper-half down the slope hides the ball and creates some cut-action on the fastball up to 81 mph (2280 RPM). Spins a quality curveball in the high-60s with 2458 RPM. Works best when he stays inline down the slope with release of both offerings at extension. Right-handed hitter with an open base and upright stance. Knee-lift trigger stride to square with hands separating into an upright barrel slot. Impact through the middle when on time and early to slot with contact out front.
