RJ Hamilton is a 2023 MIF/SS with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Hoover. Recorded a 6.31 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with a medium and twitchy build. Athleticism was on display in the infield, showing quick feet and staying light on them. Comfortable ranging laterally in both directions. Used a short, compact arm action and a quick transfer and release. Right-handed hitter and starts with a medium base, even feet, and a high back elbow. Showed quick hands and a simple, compact stroke. Swung with intent and easy bat speed. Some loft to bat path and ball came off very well. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
