Jackson Henderson is a 2024 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Hillcrest. Big athletic build, especially strong in his lower half. High leg raise delivery with a compact arm action, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball worked mostly in the upper 70's, reached back for up to 83 mph at times, fastball was mostly straight. Curveball was his best pitch, had tight spin and good feel for landing it for strikes. Change up was a good pitch with nice conviction from a slightly lower arm slot. 7.63 runner in the sixty. Played both outfield and infield on defense, has good balance and direction through the ball at both positions, showed his arm strength especially well from the outfield. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread bent knee stance with a lift and replace leg load and limited lower half shift, short swing with tight hands through the zone, has the strength to use his lower half more and open up his swing for more power. Young pitcher with some arm strength and ability to spin the ball while throwing strikes. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
