Nicholas Calderon is a 2023 MIF/C with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Kendall, FL who attends Doral Academy Charter. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 7.11 second 60-yard dash. Primary middle-infielder, good foot speed moving around the dirt, moves with good energy and intent, ideal quickness and ease to his actions, fields it well at angles and gets rid of it on time with good momentum into his throws. Right-handed hitter, sets up even and balanced, pretty short and simple stroke with good bat speed, showed good barrel accuracy and the ability to find it consistently, comes off fairly well but would translate to gap power with more engagement of the lower half. Athletic, high-contact up the middle type prospect. Good student.
