Dryden Schroeder is a 2020 C with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Carmel, IN who attends Carmel. Tall and slender athletic build, especially tall for a catcher, lots of physical projection. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high back elbow load, short stride into contact, has loose hands in his swing, middle of the field approach with some lift in his swing, gets too wide at times and impacts his swing path and balance, will continue to improve with additional strength. 7.21 runner, has athletic actions behind the plate defensively, has quickness in his lower half, arm action is long and loose with some carry to his throws. Good student.
