Cole Crawford is a 2027 C/RHP/1B with a 6-2 196 lb. frame from Cartersville, GA who attends Cartersville. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable frame with some present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.29 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate and comes out of crouch well, quick arm with solid arm strength and carry on throws down to second base, athleticism plays. Athletic footwork around the first base bag, funnels the ball cleanly and shows arm strength across the diamond, occasionally gets uphill with release; deliberate tempo to actions in the infield, shows arm strength on throws, tools play at third base. Also pitched, leg lift up to core, medium length to arm action to a high three-quarters release point, effort at release and topped out at 80 mph with fastball, shows big cutting action at times. Missed bats with the fastball, short lateral life to slider at 70 mph. Right-handed hitter, even base with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, loads hands/barrel back at start of swing, full swing path through the zone with some whip to the barrel head. Ball jumps off of the barrel, shows impact to the middle of the field and pull side, on time with path, looks to lift and occasionally gets uphill, creates nice carry. Named to the 2023 14u Perfect Game Select Festival.
