Ajani Henke-Reed is a 2023 RHP/IF, OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Saint Charles, MO who attends Home School. A medium frame with an athletic build and strength present. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher who works downhill with athleticism. Uses a clean and repeatable delivery, throwing from an over-the-top slot. He has a big leg lift up to the chest with a quick pace down the mound with control in the lower half, creating some drive and momentum down the mound. Worked a fastball up to 88 mph while working the mid-80s, riding it will. Mixed in a curveball with 11-5 shape getting extended and dropping it in there for strikes and swings and misses. Also dropped in a changeup, throwing it arm side in the low-80s with some cutting action to it. A right-handed hitter, with a narrow base, closed off in the front side. Worked to the opposite field, producing an 83 mph exit velocity with some strength behind the swings. Worked out in the outfield showing some athletic looks, and getting momentum as he works through the baseball. Clean fielding actions present with a good transfer into his throws. Has plenty of arm strength behind the throws at 86 mph, being accurate to the bag. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
