Victor Heredia Jr is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Santa Ynez, CA who attends Santa Ynez Valley Union. Large frame with a lean build showing some room to fill out physically in the future. Ran a 6.93 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, bouncing around proving to have some lateral range. Clean with the leather as he scoops it up before working into transfers. Accurate across the diamond showing off a strong arm. Threw it 87 mph during drills. Made a great diving catch behind the mound in games. Projects here going forward. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into side-step to a higher leg lift. Under control as he drives off the backside while proving to be athletic in the delivery. Full arm circle and released from a higher slot. Proved he could pitch backwards as he pounded the zone. Fastball up to 87 mph with life out of hand. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball showing vertical depth in the low-70's. Right-Handed Hitter, weight on backside to start as he works into a lower stride to swing. Hands are high as he fires them through the zone. Creates bat speed as he looks to drive it to all fields. Proved he could find barrels as he impacted with some thump. Good Student. Named to National Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
