Vincent Matesso is a 2023 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Los Gatos, CA who attends Bellarmine College Prep. Medium frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 6.86 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball as he reads it off the bat before working into his route. Slows down momentum upon gathering the baseball before working into transfers. Accurate throws as he kept them down while throwing it 76 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Medium arm circle in the back before releasing from a higher slot. Does a good job staying online and then gets over his front side upon release. More velocity in the tank as he showed a fluid arm action. Fastball up to 76 mph as he pounded the zone. Also mixed in a slurvy breaking ball that he landed for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, slightly open with weight on the back leg. Knee to knee hover lift before striding out. Fires the hips and stay linear through the zone as he proved he could drive it the other way. Will make big strides with some mechanical clean-up's. Outstanding Student.
