Nick Gomez is a 2022 3B/ with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from San Bruno, CA who attends Capuchino. Athletic build with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 7.92 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Flashed deliberate actions working to and through the baseball in the outfield with confident glove actions utilizing clean out front funnels. Showed clean transfers into throws from a three-quarter arm slot with accurate carry to the bases and developing arm strength topping out at 71 MPH from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright stance with a high leg lift trigger. Flashed a short compact swing with good bat speed and barrel control working the barrel out front creating consistently driven pull side contact. Will add more gap to gap power with added strength and fluidity to the swing with maturity. Great student.
