Luca DiPaolo is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from La Canada, CA who attends Loyola. Strong build, athletic frame. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary catcher, displayed soft hands with good footwork and a quick transfer and release. Showed off his cannon with a 1.90 pop time down to second base. At the plate, rally used his lower half, made loud contact and had good bat speed with an upper cut hand path. Used the whole field, has the ability to square the ball up to all fields. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
