Kane Yonamine is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lakewood, CA who attends Lakewood. Medium frame with an athletic type build showing some fast twitch muscle. Ran a 7.04 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in his stance athletically as he proved to be flexible. Soft hands as he proved to receive it with ease. Quick transfer and gains ground on throw downs while he was accurate to the bag. Recorded a 2.03 second pop time during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, starting balanced and then works into a short, compact swing path. Looks to stay inside the baseball and drive it back up the middle. Will gain some power when he gets extended and impacts out front. Good Student.
