Brock Bearden is a 2022 OF/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Texarkana, TX who attends Pleasant Grove. Nice athletic build with good present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, has a quiet and simple approach at the plate, showed quickness and strength in his hands with some present bat speed, showed good feel for the barrel and got nice jump to the middle of the field, well executed high contact swing with some strength behind it, projects well as a hitter. Outstanding runner, 6.56 in the sixty. Aggressive to ball in the outfield, fields out front well, fluid arm action with a full arm stroke, more arm strength to come as he continues to get stronger. Very good athlete who is going to keep improving. Excellent student. Named to the Lone Star Showcase Top Prospect List.
