Patrick Navarre is a 2020 RHP/2B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Mount Carmel HS. Medium frame with room to fill and some projection moving forward. Ran an 8.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, takes arm back to to a full arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, could utilize his lower half more as he comes down the mound, flashed extension out in front and was able to locate his fastball to either side of the plate when doing so. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, curveball has short 11-to-5 shape, slider has tighter spin and sharpness, flashed a changeup as well. Secondary second baseman, took reps in the infield fielding the baseball out in front, developing footwork into release with a clean arm stroke, topped out at 80 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, moves into contact well, flashed quick hands to it, multiple components to swing looking to impact the baseball. Outstanding student.
