Hayes Edwards is a 2027 C/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Easley, SC who attends Palmetto. Lengthy frame for the class with thin levers at present, proportional build and size in both halves. Ran a 8.39 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, replaces the feet, solid direction, clean exchanges, developing arm strength, clean round with some accurate throws. Right-handed pitcher, short movements, in line takeback, medium arm stroke, filled up the zone, solid intent, has some arm speed, working on extension out front, sinks the fastball some, flashed a low 60s curveball in the mix. Right-handed hitter, working on body control. full intent swing, caught it off the hands, sank into lower half, working to get extended. Good frame to grow into with some promise behind the dish.
