Sebastian Benitez-Martinez is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B with a 6-5 250 lb. frame from Fayetteville, NC who attends Jack Britt. Extra tall with lots of physicality throughout his frame. Ran a 8.29 sixty yard dash. A primary right-handed pitcher, stays in line during his drive down the mound using a high 3/4 release and got extension when on time. Moved the fastball around to all four quadrants with some cut on the glove side. There was some life to the fastball when down in the zone and he confidently threw his curveball and changeup during his outing. A secondary first baseman, with a solid first step and good timing in his approach to the ball. Body control and transfer are also solid. A right-handed hitter, starts balanced and in line with his base. Toe tap trigger and a quiet hand load and the hands work with fluidity and adjust well to the ball. Middle approach with good jump off the bat.
