Cole Murphy is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Newnan, GA who attends Newnan. Recorded a 6.98 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a big frame and athletic build. Fundamental approach to gather in the outfield working through the ball. One-hand gather and high slot on throws to the bases at 81 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with high hands and belt-high lift. Sinks into his strong lower half and drives down the slope with a full arm swing and 3/4 slot delivery. Natural cut-action on the fastball up to 76 mph (1972 RPM) and breaking ball at 65 mph (1859 RPM). Around the zone with a controlled delivery and late action of his pitches through the strike zone. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and slightly open stance in the box. Knee-lift trigger stride to even with hands separating into slot. Feel for the barrel with solid timing to impact out front. Strength through the zone with some juice to the pull side. Excellent student.
