2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (Oct. 6)
Lazaro Jimenez is a 2022 MIF/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. 6.63 runner in the sixty. Has good quickness and footwork in the middle infield on defense, works around the ball well and puts him in good position to field it, short and quick release, second base arm strength and actions. Also played some outfield with a centerfield/left field profile. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high hand load, upper body arm driven swing, stays balanced well, showed some pull line drive contact when he got the barrel out front on time. Excellent student.
