Irving Ramos is a 2022 C/ with a 5-10 172 lb. frame from Vega Alta, PR who attends Escuela Ladislao Martinez. Medium frame with some physicality and athleticism to the overall build. Primary catcher with quick transfers to the throwing hand and a side saddle start. Strong arm and carries well out of the hand. Lower arm slot with accuracy and throws recorded up to 74 mph with a best recorded pop time of 1.98 seconds. Right-handed hitter with an even and upright stance. High hand set, high back elbow, with a quick turn over the inside. Quick hands and can lift the ball through contact. Big shift inward and gets his weight out to the front side during extension. Repeats timing well and has excellent strength off the barrel. Good student.
