Chase Goodwin is a 2025 C/MIF, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Brookwood. Medium, athletic build with room to continue adding strength. 7.17 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Primary catcher, high side-saddled setup, comes out of the crouch with athleticism, compact arm action to an over the top release point, uphill release. Comes out of the crouch quickly at times, showed flashes behind the dish, recorded a pop-time of 2.10 and throws up to 72 mph. Right-handed hitter with a balanced stance and hands tight to the body, toe tap trigger gets the swing started, hands stay tight to the body throughout, uphill path through the zone and flashed ability to get extended in the round. Has some projectable traits to the swing, needs to free up the hands just a bit. Great student.
