Nicholas Porter is a 2020 RHP/3B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Perry, MI who attends Perry HS. Medium frame with long, lean build; very projectable athlete. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.51 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step into delivery with high leg kick, compact arm stroke to low three quarters arm slot, drop and drive mechanics, fastball worked 69-73 mph with arm side life. Worked in curveball with 10/4 slurvy shape, also demonstrated feel for his changeup. Line drive swing plane with some length to stroke when hitting, middle-field approach, front hip tends to leak out early, shows good ability to use whole field. Worked out in the infield, deep two hand funnel out front, fields cleanly, moves well to the ball to both sides, arm strength across clocked up to 75 mph. Good student.
