2021 Spring Midwest Workout Showcase (Friday)
Jake Trca is a 2022 3B/RHP/C with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. Trca works out of a strong frame with additional room to add strength and fill out. From the infield, he successfully fielded the ball out in front, flashing soft hands and solid arm strength. From behind the plate, Trca showcased good downhill momentum with smooth transitions and quick footwork. He started out of a wide even spread at the plate with a flexed front elbow. He was able to display great backspin and some power potential to the pull side gap.
