Mitch Jackson is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Rockwall, TX who attends Rockwall HS. Very lean young build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.32 runner, is light on his feet on defense and has smooth actions through the ball on defense, can throw from different angles on the move and look natural and easy doing it, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, moves into contact well and swings hard, aggressive hitter, short line drive swing, stays consistent in his mechanics and timing, works the ball from the middle of the field to the pull side. Also pitched, simple turn and throw rotational delivery from the stretch. Threw strikes with lots of running life on a low 70's fastball. Good athlete with skills who just needs to get stronger. Good student.
