Oliver Degenhardt is a 2023 SS/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends St. John Vianney. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Athletic actions in the middle infield, has quality body control and active feet, quick and compact arm action with plenty of carry, soft hands to both sides, strong projection to stay in the middle infield at the next level. Right handed hitter, deep and late push back hand load creates some length, simple stride into contact, gets good hip and body turn and hits through the ball well with some ability to turn the barrel, can make adjustments to shorten up his approach, bat speed and twitch to develop as a hitter. Very good student. Named to the National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
