Grant Sawyer is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Wildwood, MO who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Recorded a 6.79 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Medium frame with a lean and athletic build, good physical projection moving forward. Primary outfielder, moves well to and through the ball with some softness in the hands when fielding. Medium arm circle with good zip out of the hand, clean round overall. Good athleticism and arm strength combo, has things to like moving forward. Right-handed hitter with a semi-crouch and slightly open stance, creates tons of separation during the load. Voilent swign with obvious bat speed, looks to elevate and do damage with every swing. Gets out of control at times and swing length could be problematic. Does a good job of getting the lower half involved, impacts the ball with authority when on time and squared. Body really projects and has legitimate power potential, key to his development will be further refinement of the hit tool. Great student. Named to the 2022 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
