Cooper Robertson is a 2023 3B/RHP, C with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Ofallon, MO who attends Fort Zumwalt West. Medium, square shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout. Ran a 7.74 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, clean glove actions both forehand and moving to the backhand, stays low on approach and works through it well, balanced actions and repeats well, accuracy on throws. Also pitched, utilizes lower half well to drive down the mound, works quickly and gets to a three-quarters slot at release with some angle. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with running life to arm side; found feel for slider throughout out, short bite to it up to 70 mph. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set at the plate; utilizes a toe lift trigger for timing in the box. Simple and repeatable operation, direct swing path and with nice present impact strength to the gaps. Balanced and controlled swing, projects nicely moving forward, aggressive approach with good direction moving into contact. Excellent student.
