Kevin Rodriguez is a 2019 C/1B, OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Camuy, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Recorded a 7.27 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic, physical frame with some strength to the build presently. Primary catcher with a wide, athletic stance. Works uphill at times with a best pop time recorded of 2.15 seconds. Gets it out quickly with some carry out of the hand and accuracy. Secondary outfielder with deliberate actions and a short arm stroke. Glove side work is solid with accuracy into the infield. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a full swing path. Downhill swing plane with a big leg lift trigger into the swing. Drifts into the separation at times but flashes impact strength off the barrel. Good student.
