Juan Perez is a 2024 C/IF, OF, UT with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends Sarasota. Medium size athletic frame. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. A catcher with quick feet well, on line footwork, a quick transfer and arm strength with accurate throws on the bag. A switch-hitter at the plate that showed the ability to handle the barrel and put explosive swings on the baseball from both sides of the plate. Real strength as a right handed hitter with power projection, up to 98 exit velo in batting practice. Aggressive swing that can do some damage at the plate. Has the look of a future power hitting catcher. Named to event top prospect list. Very good student.
