Alex Bruno is a 2023 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from San Juan, PR who attends Leadership Christian Academy. Showed above average speed with a 6.72 second sixty. Primary short stop with a lean athletic build. Works to the spot well on the infield with long strides bringing the ball in cleanly and doing a nice job of getting on top of the throws with arm strength and accuracy. Right-handed hitter, starts even using a hanging leg lift to trigger the swing. Showed flashes of bat speed through the zone with an all fields approach with good connection in the upper and lower half. Good student. Named to the 2022 Sunshine Gulf Coast Top Prospect List.
