Grayson McCarthy is a 2027 RHP/SS with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends The Bolles. Recorded a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame. Pitches exclusively from the stretch and begind delivery with a leg lift to waist level, landing on line. Sinks into back leg, using a longer arm swing. Quick arm and fastball topped at 85 mph with sink. Excellent four-pitch mix and threw all for strikes with comfort. Sharp two-plane slider with tightness and very good changeup with dive and depth. Held velocity and generated lots of swing-and-miss. Secondary shortstop and displayed quality athleticism to actions. Solid fundamentals and accurate across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from an even base with a high hand set. Athleticism to the swing along with quickness through the zone. Has the ability to use the opposite field and swing swith intent.
