Primary right-handed pitcher works exclusively from the stretch showing good pitch ability off the mound as he keeps the fastball down in the zone at 79 mph. Turley went right after the hitters from the start and mixed in a change of pace breaking ball that has good depth and 11/5 action. Also taking fly balls in the outfield fielding the ball out front showing a backside release while accurately throwing the ball at 77 mph to the bases. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with a wide and an in-line stance displaying a short stride swing. With his top hand around the baseball, Turley fires the hips producing good bat speed and impact on the ball while working to a pull side approach. Tremendous student.
