Kai Barnhart is a 2023 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Stilwell, KS who attends Blue Valley Southwest. Big and strong physical build. Side step delivery with a short hip turn over the rubber, short stride out front, has a short arm action from a 3/4's slot, lands closed out front. Worked in the mid-70's with his fastball, topping out at 78 mph, has good command of his fastball and moved it around the zone with good plane to it. Mid-60's curveball showed good depth and also threw the pitch for strikes. Has an idea how to pitch and the ability to throw strikes. Good student.
