Jayden Adcox is a 2023 C/RHP/IF with a 6-0 225 lb. frame from Forest, MS who attends Forest HS. Recorded a 7.78 second 60-yard dash time. Strongly built frame with lots of physicality present. Primary catcher with a quicker release and stays tall through that. Longer arm stroke with plenty of arm quickness. Short ground gained but a big arm up to 81 mph. Best recorded pop time of 1.96 seconds. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the infield. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a small side step into a leg lift below the belt. Online arm path through a three-quarters arm slot. Creates good energy through the lower half and peaked at 87 mph. Fastball showed heavy sinking life. Four pitches with a hard slider, vertical curveball, and sinking action on the changeup. Right-handed hitter with an even base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Toe tap trigger with very heavy and fast hands. Very good bat speed with a quick, direct path. Plenty of now power to left centerfield and lots of well-struck contact in BP. Great student. Named to the 2022 Uncommitted Main Event TP List.
