Ethan Willard is a 2025 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Trinity, NC who attends Trinity. Medium frame with a solid build and some twitch to his actions with plenty fo time to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Primary position IF, showing good first step quickness and good lateral range. Sticks his nose on the ball and really plays in his legs. Presents glove well and it plays confidently and smoothly. Clean transfer and quick release to build throws up to 82 mph across the field. Reps in the OF too with good mechanics and one handed glove work out front. Works through the ball and reached 86 mph on feeds to bags. Secondary RHP using a high leg lift and solid balance over the rubber to generate energy down the slope. Turns well in the core and uses long deep arm stroke through a high 3/4 arm angle to show a FB up to 79 mph. Fills up the zone with ease and used SL with tight spin as his secondary offering. RHH with an even start, big toe tap trigger and wrapped barrel pre-pitch. Hands really work and the ball jumps when he gets extended. A bit of length to his bat path but barrel speed is evident. Really showed well with the glove in game action and is a tremendous student.
