Maury Weaver is a 2019 SS/2B, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Trinity Christian. Skinny and athletic frame with room to fill on a projectable build. Ran a 6.63 second 60 yard dash, quick-twitch athleticism that shows up in game. Primary shortstop, smooth actions with present athleticism attacking the baseball, soft hands out in front, makes a quick release when needed on plays and can windup into throws for plenty of arm strength as well, low arm slot at release topping out at 81 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, wide based set to start, compact swing with quickness to his hands, loose stroke showing the ability to turn the barrel over well, produces lots of pull side contact with a simple and effective pull approach. Named to 2018 Southeast Prospect Top Prospect List.
