Lance Williams is a 2023 RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Shenandoah, VA who attends William Monroe. Large frame with a lean, athletic type build. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side step to a higher lift. Drops and drives utilizing the lower half strength. Shorter arm stroke as he hides the baseball well before releasing from a higher slot. Naturally deceptive because of it. Whip to the arm generating easy velocity. Fastball up to 93 mph showing bore with good command proving he could work both sides of the plate with it. Spin rates up to 2,513 rpm. Mixed in a sharp breaking ball with in upper-70-'s with spin rates up to 2,689 rpm. Even dropped the arm slot at times for slider while landing for strike. Rounded arsenal off with a changeup in the low-80's showing he could turn it over. Confident on the mound and was dominant in the performance. Great Student. Verbal to East Carolina.
