Colton Haire is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Apex, NC who attends Pro5 Baseball Academy. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, some present strength with additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, athleticism plays in actions, works under control and with ease to and through the ball, long arm action through the back but shows ability to adjust slot on throws, maintains balance and shows accuracy with arm strength and carry across the diamond. Similar arm action and release on throws from the outfield, longer movements into release but controls actions well, looseness to arm with carry and nice present arm strength. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a lower hand set at the plate, pulls back at start of swing to start rhythm. Quick and linear stroke through the zone, hands work nicely and shows present jump off of the barrel when squared. Repeats swing and shows comfort working to pull side and middle parts of the field.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
