Franco Bonafilia is a 2023 2B/SS with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Palos Park, IL who attends Marist. Ran a 7.91 second sixty. Primary second baseman with a medium build. Does a nice job working around the ball allowing him to maintain his momentum into the throws with some feel for the footwork while showing developing arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts narrow and slightly upright with an open stance, bat path stays to the inside part of the ball driving the ball the other way with a mostly linear bat path while showing above average feel for the barrel in game action. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
