Michael Knapp is a 2022 RHP/SS with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Levittown, NY who attends Division Avenue Senior. Medium height with a high waist and athletic look. Ran a 7.86 in the sixty yard dash. A primary pitcher, who works very fast while commanding both sides of the plate with huge confidence. Easy arm action with a short stroke on the back and good extension, creates run and sink on the fastball that got plenty of swing and miss. Has a sweeping breaking ball he lands and the change up compliments the fastball with late fade and is the go-to secondary offering. Can pitch. A secondary infielder, with good lateral range and confidence in the glove. Throws were consistent around the bag. A right-handed hitter, starts balanced with higher hands and stays online with his base. Keeps his hands above the ball with feel for the barrel and a middle approach.
