Layton Hyneman is a 2024 C/2B, 3B with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends Villa Rica. Compact frame with room to fill and time to do so. Ran a 7.76 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with long movements out of his crouch, comes out of his crouch to an upright release, young movements with developing actions, 2.39 second best pop time in drills. Right-handed hitter, sets up at the plate with a wide base and a high hand set, looks to lift with a lift to his path, looseness to his hands with young bat speed and strength at impact, will continue to improve pop with added strength. Outstanding student.
