Ian Flores is a 2020 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Augusta, GA who attends Cross Creek. Recorded a 7.69 second 60-yard dash. Long and athletic frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary left-handed pitcher, clean operation with repeatable mechanics. Starts very controlled with minor movements into a controlled leg lift, long and smooth arm action up to a high three-quarters slot with good arm speed. Gets down the mound well with good extension over the front side, works well to both sides of the plate with arm-side run to the fastball, shows feel for a tight spinning slider with sweeping action and late depth, creates a tough at-bat for left-handed hitters. Secondary first baseman, fields it cleanly with athletic actions and ability to change arm slots to throw on the move. Left-hander hitter, whippy swing with some bat speed, loses feel for the barrel at times but shows strength at contact when met out front and lifted.
