Soren Angelini is a 2023 1B/LHP with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Cherry Creek. Medium, broad shouldered frame with present strength throughout and additional room to grow and develop moving forward. Ran an 8.99 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, gets low behind the ball on the approach, fields it out front, shows accuracy on throws with effort at release, sound footwork on the turn towards second base, present arm strength and carry on throws. Left-handed hitter, begins with a narrow base and a lower hand set, utilizes a longer stride moving into contact with lower half. Loads hands back at start of swing, swings with intent and looks to create leverage with lift to his pull side. Shows strength off of the barrel when squared, occasionally opens front side early, nice present bat speed through the zone. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
