Jake Miller is a 2025 SS/C, 3B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Marion, IA who attends Marion. Recorded a 6.85 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with room to fill. Primary shortstop with athletic actions, quick feet with some bounce, and quiet footwork. Moved well laterally with a clean funnel to the chest with strength in the arm. Higher three- quarter arm slot and showed the ability to adjust the slot. Switch-handed hitter. From the right-side starts from a wider base with high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a leg lift into stride. Some whip to the hands and can work uphill through the ball. Drove it well in the air early on. From the left-side, similar set up with some more rotation in the swing and better contact in the air to drive it right-center to right field. Also put together good at-bats in game action and collected a double. Exciting player with good upside. Named to the Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
