2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Braden Kauffman is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Shipshewana, IN who attends Westview Junior-Senior. Slender build with plenty of room to add more muscle as he gets older. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.65 seconds. Primary middle infielder, showed the ability to make the routine plays, consistently gets behind the , was comfortable throwing from different arm slots. Still working on controlling his body but will come as he matures. Displayed accurate throws with some arm strength. From the plate, hits from a balanced slightly open stance, consistently hit the ball on a line to the middle on the field. Saw the ball well, had good timing which allowed him to square the ball up. Excellent student.
