Enrique Resendez is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Bonita, CA who attends Bonita Vista HS. Big and strong athletic build with good lower half strength. Slow paced deliberate delivery, compact arm action and tight 3/4's release that hides the ball well from hitters. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, has good running life in the zone, run is very consistent and a plus. Curveball was soft but showed good consistent spin and some depth, can use it more often. Threw strikes with both pitches. Right handed hitter, calm and simple approach and stays well timed, contact hitter who will hit to all fields.
